Secret Keeper Girl- A book review

We all remember how trying our teen years were. Whether you fit in and had all the friends anyone could wish for or you were a wallflower who kept to yourself, we have all felt the pressures that are associated with being a tween girl. This is why I am so glad that I was approached to review the book Danikas totally terrible toss(Book #1 in the Secret Keeper Girl Series)

The Secret Keeper Girl is a 4 part series that focuses on four 6th grade girls who meet in detention and form the Secret Keeper Girls Club. Through broken secrets and hard decisions these girls quickly learn what it means to be a true friend.

Dannah Gresh is one of the best selling Christian authors targeting teens and tweens. She is the author of all of the Secret Keeper Girl products and creator of the tour, which will be in sixty cities in 2009. Dannah lives in Pennsylvania with her husband and two teenage daughters, Lexi and Autumn.

Each of the four books in the Secret Keeper Girls Club series has a fun mother/daughter questionairre which allows mothers and their daughter to bond. I think that this series is going become quite popular amongst tween girls, This is the type of book I wish I had when I was going through the trials of tweendom.

The entire series is available for purchase at Barnes and Noble as well as through Amazon!

Wow, those sound really good. My dd is 15, so too old, but I will keep them in mind for dds of friends.

I teach kids this age. Unfortunately they are all boys and would immediately go into behaviour with such a girly book. ;)
