The craziest thing I remember on a sleep deprived day was with my first who is now 4. I was so short on sleep I got to the point where I started seeing people that weren't there! It would only be for a second and would be like a fast moving figure, but it really really freaked me out.

I fed my dogs my baby's rice cereal - the kind you mix with milk. Instead of getting out their dog food, I went to the pantry, got the cereal, made two bowls with pumped milk (in the dogs meal bowls), and fed them...My huband watched the whole thing and didn't say anything until after (he seemed to think it was hilarious). I must have been half asleep, because I really don't remember doing it, just that all of a sudden my husband was in a fit of laughter and I had to ask why...It's funny now, but at the time I was furious at him, and confused about how it could have happened!

I've poured water into cereal instead of milk, I put body lotion in my hair instead of non-rinse detangler, I've put my shirt on backwards. I've had alot of sleep deprived moments lol.

I'm trying to win this for a friend that is due to have a boy soon. When my son was first born I was so exhausted. One of the days I went up to the microwave and was trying to dial my moms phone number on it.

Once I woke up in a panic thinking that my baby was buried under the covers of my bed. He was actually asleep in his own bed. He woke so frequently that my husband and I were both sleep deprived. My husband woke me up once because he said the baby was laying on my back. He was in his crib that time, too.

I poured the formula in my babies bottle WITHOUT putting the liner in first. If you have ever used these bottles you know there is no bottom so that means it went all over the counter and floor. Ugggh the tears started b/c now I had to start all over on making the formula!

I have a two month old baby and the last two days I have been so tired I am starting to hallucinate. I was finally dozing off while rocking my baby in the chair and all of a sudden it was like I was watching a spider crawl on the outside of my eye!! I jumped pretty high and had to look around just to make sure it was just a dream. :)
Plus just the everyday stuff like getting up to get my daughter when she was crying and then not remembering it in the AM. But I wouldnt change having a baby for anything;)

I've woken up thinking I needed to take my older daughter to school - and then realized I'd taken a nap and she was already there.

When my husband and I were putting our 9-week-old daughter to bed last night, as we transferred her from the living room to our bedroom, I made sure to grab her pacifier. Our dog happened to be underfoot, and he barked. Without thinking, I reached down and almost had the pacifier in his mouth, but thankfully pulled my hand back before he had a chance to sniff it or grab it.

Thank you for the giveaway!

I never did anything funny or cute. When I was sleep deprieved, I would go in the shower, have a good cry, and come out feeling refreshed.

I have heard great things about these blankets, but never had one. It would have come in handy for my high needs babies!

As for an experience, not me personally, but my husband...our first son cried A LOT. Didn't sleep much at all for the first year. It was horrid. Well, baby was a few days old, crying all of the time. I was behind on laundry (I was on bedrest before baby was born) and I woke to find DH AND baby missing from the bed (we co-sleep). I got up to see where they were and found the baby sleeping soundly on hubsters chest...who was peacefully sleeping in the pile of dirty laundry!

He still reminds me of it to this day! ;-)

You don't know how much I need this! My son is 5 months old and still needs to be swaddled to sleep (his arms flail about when I put him down to bed and he always wakes himself up). And of course he can now escape from the swaddler we use.

My story is not amazing, but is probably pretty common. One day during lunch, we were eating spaghetti. I wanted to sprinkle Parmesan cheese on the noodles and I grabbed my iced tea instead of the container of cheese. Needless to say, I needed to get another helping of pasta.

Thanks for the wonderful giveaway. I'm sure all moms would appreciate it.

I'm still pregnant with my little boy an I'm already sleep deprived. He won't stop moving around at night! One day I was in a hurry to get to work (I work at an elementary school) and I quickly got dressed put on shoes and left for work. I went the whole day without even noticing I had two different shoes on, one black and one brown! My students were laughing at me all day. If this happens when I'm pregnant I can only await what will happen after the baby is born and I'm even more sleep deprived.

Last year when my son was about 2 months old, my husband made me go and take my drivers license test. I was barely 18 and EXTREMELY nervous. The night before my test, Draiegen woke up about every 45 minutes.. resulting in about 2 hours sleep for me. Unfortunately, I couldn't cancel my test, so I had to brave it out. The lady and I got in the car and all was fine and good. I parallel parked great, and I could backup fine. I was getting a good review.. until I had to pull out into traffic. I was so completely out of it from lack of sleep that I kept thinking cars were coming when nothing was there, I ran a red light and didn't notice, I felt like I was going REALLY fast.. but was barely going 30 mph, lol. The lady thought that I'd had absolutely NO IDEA what I was doing and nearly had a heart attack. She told me I failed and I just started crying and couldn't stop.. lol. I guess I get all emotional when I'm tired. Needless to say, this time around I'm not going to be taking a drivers exam afterward! Jessica Rodriguez

I remember my son didn't sleep for 24 hours once when he was just a baby and I felt like I was going to lose my mind. I remember singing him songs over and over as I walked around in a circle through my house and the songs made absolutely no sense at all. It was gibberish, utter gibberish.

The one sleep deprived day I had was while making potato salad. I was boiling my potatoes and hours later I woke up to the smell of burning metal. The pot was melted away. I could have burned the house down. When tired I no longer cook. Thank you so much!

That's an easy one, I have a couple stories... but on one particular sleep deprived day, I was boiling water for hard boiled eggs in the morning and then walked away (always a mistake) and went to get the laundry out. As I was putting laundry in the dryer, and then on our hanging line, I easily forgot about the water. After the laundry, I went to check email... Maybe 30 minutes later, I remembered the water! I ran to the kitchen and found a completely dry pan, some smoke (not bad) but a VERY burned pan and scorched stove top burner. Argh! Thanks for a great giveaway! I have 2 miracle swaddle blankets on my registry and would love to win one!! laurachilton {at} hotmail {dot} com

I once got my daughter and myself ready for a special day at my older daughters' preschool, just to realize the special day wasn't until the following week! Oh, how I longed to get back home to my pjs! I also used to be famous for putting the milk in the cupboard with the cereal! Thanks!
