Enough Is Enough!

From the day our children are born we spend our every waking minute trying to protect them. To keep them safe. to keep them healthy. Well I have learned that this is just not possible despite my every obsessive effort to do so. No matter how many doorknobs i saturate in lysol, no matter how many times a week i wash her sheets,It never fails that sophie ends up sick. Our most recent adventure to the emergency room was prompted my chronic diarreha and vomiting. bloodwork showed she was dehydrated and a stool sample showed she has rotavirus. So after a bag of fluids she was dischagred, she is drinking today and eating little bites here and there. diarreha is still pretty bad but the vomiting has subsided.

I want to take this time to thank a VERY special group of women in my life. I love these women, they are literally my entire support system and there is a good chance that i would have broken down and fallen apart already if it wasnt for them. thanks girls. YOU ARE THE BEST.

You are an amazing mama! Sometimes we just can't help the sicknesses our children get. And sometimes we cant help them when they get sick. That's why there are doctors and hospitals to help when we cant. So dont fret. She will get better once the virus has run it's course.
